When it comes to using a capo, resonator guitars can be a little bit awkward simply because, by design, the action sits so high when compared to standard guitars. While many capos designed for resonator guitars just clamp down on the strings, the Shubb C6 can be securely anchored to your instrument.
The Shubb C6 Capo: A Stable Solution
By only clamping the strings, many capos designed for resonators tend to effect the sound, making it a little rattled and shaky. Here, Shubb take an entirely different route by designing a capo that's actually clamped onto the guitar, and since it also comes finished with a special rubber strip which mimics the consistent pressure of your finger, you're assured of clean tone and pure notes.
